The Last Public Night at Bosscha Observatory in 2010 |

 As one of the public services, Bosscha Observatory offered a public night which opens for everyone each year. The activities that can be followed are getting the information of the history of Bosscha Observatory and some other astronomical news at Multimedia Room, visiting the Zeiss telescope, observing the astronomical objects using Unitron and Bamberg telescopes, and also visiting the solar telescope. Each public night is limited for two hundred people.
On the year 2010, public nights held three times per month, on April, May, June, July, September, and October. These selection months are adjusted to the dry season of the year, the best season for astronomical observations. Unfortunately the weather in year 2010 is very unpredictable, so that almost every public night since April never had a good sky condition for any observations using a telescope.
