Doctoral Program in Astronomy determines the learning outcomes so that graduates have the ability to:

  1. Understanding of astronomy/astrophysics and related disciplines at an advanced level
  2. Develop and test original ideas to answer in-depth/leading questions in the field of astronomy/astrophysics (theory and observation) based on relevant methods by taking into account related norms
  3. Manage astronomy/astrophysics research properly
  4. Communicate their work and research results in the field of astronomy/astrophysics in oral presentations and written reports in professional forums
  5. Understand and contribute to increase the value and role of astronomy in human civilization and maintain a strong enthusiasm for science
