Silabus Mengenal Tata Surya: mekanika, hukum Kepler, planet, radiasi thermal, planet Jovian, planet kebumian, satelit alami.Phenomena gaya pasang surut: stabilitas gaya pasang surut, limit Roche, satelit kaku, satelit fluida, konsep rubble-pile, dan material strength. Komet: Struktur fisik, inti, koma, ekor, evolusi fisis, evolusi dinamis, model inti komet, model permukaan, model interior, model mass-loss, model pembungkus debu, kala hidup, perturbasi planet dan bintang. Asteroid: asal mula asteroid, asteroid sabuk utama, asteroid dekat bumi, potentially hazardous asteroids. Benda kecil lain: meteor oid, centaurs, obyek Kuiper (trans-Neptunus), objek piringan tersebar (scater disk objects). Model termal dan kecepatan rotasi asteroid dan komet, taksonomi dan mineralogy, tumbukan benda kecil.
