BAN-PT is the official accreditation agency appointed by the Ministry of Education, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. In addition to national recognition, the Undergraduate Program in Astronomy has also earned international accreditation from ASIIN (Akkreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathematik), a well-respected accreditation agency based in Germany.
This certification was valid from June 26, 2015 to September 30, 2020, and it reflects the program’s compliance with international standards in science and mathematics education.
